About Me
For as long as I can recall, the desire to travel the world on my motorcycle has burned brightly in my heart. There's something about the freedom and connection to nature that riding a motorcycle provides, an indescribable sensation that fuels my spirit. It's been nearly a hundred days since I reluctantly parted ways with my beloved motorcycle, a sacrifice I had to make upon relocating to Europe.
Reflecting on my journey, I recall my time in South Korea, where despite warnings about the impracticality and dangers of motorcycling, I boldly chose to embrace this passion over the convenience of a car. Some may call it madness, but to me, it was a calling—a pursuit of adventure and thrill that only a motorcycle could offer. From my humble beginnings riding a small-displacement motorcycle during my university days to finally acquiring a used BMW GS 310 after years of saving, each step brought me closer to my dream. Though it wasn't the motorcycle of my dreams, it was a faithful companion through the bitter winter winds and unexpected challenges.
But life is unpredictable, and just as I was gearing up for epic adventures across South Korea, fate dealt me a blow as my motorcycle's engine failed. The cost of repairs loomed large, a stark reminder of the risks inherent in this passion. Yet, from this setback emerged clarity — I understood what I truly desired from a motorcycle.
I was eyeing on the Honda CB500X, a machine that may not excel in any particular aspect but embodies reliability and versatility. With the support of my partner, who lent me half the funds interest-free, I embarked on a new chapter of adventures. 16,000 kilometers traversed in just five months—a testament to the bond forged between rider and machine. This motorcycle grew on me❤️.
Now, as I prepare to embark on a new journey in Europe with the rebranded NX500, my heart swells with anticipation. It's not just a motorcycle; it's a symbol of resilience, passion, and the unyielding spirit of exploration. The road ahead may be unknown, but one thing is certain—the ride goes on, and I'll embrace every twist and turn with unwavering passion and gratitude.
